American Public Health Association is the premier educational forum. It is the gathering of public health professionals for current and emerging health science, policy, and practice issues. It will allow practitioners to exchange information and enhance their knowledge. The Public Health Foundation will be found at booth 1746. Jacalyn Carden, Associate Director for Performance Management will be networking at meetings and sessions with CDC and other public health agencies. TRAIN's Director Lois Banks will conduct a presentation using innovative technology as a tool to recruit minorities to public health careers, scheduled for Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 8:30 AM. Michelle Clausen, TRAIN's Program Assistant will also demonstrate how TRAIN can be used to analyze and collect data. Pamela Saungweme, Project Assistant, will be presenting results of the public health workforce survey.
