AHD Webinar Series: Ask Me Anything – Academic Health Department Partnerships (Archived Virtual Meeting)

Overview

Academic health department (AHD) partnerships – formal partnerships between health departments and academic institutions – have the potential to enhance the capacity of the organizations involved and offer a variety of benefits.

This archived virtual meeting captures the second Ask Me Anything focused on AHD partnerships and hosted by the Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice (Council on Linkages) and the Public Health Foundation (PHF). During this interactive virtual meeting, a brief overview of AHD partnerships and the latest updates on the AHD Learning Community were provided and then the microphone was turned over to participants to ask anything they’d like to know about AHD partnerships. Speakers included C. William Keck, MD, MPH, Chair of the Council on Linkages and AHD Learning Community; Kathleen Amos, MLIS, Director, Workforce Development, PHF; and meeting participants who shared their own experiences and expertise, as well as their questions.

This one hour virtual meeting was originally presented in February 13, 2024 as part of the AHD Webinar Series, a webinar series hosted by the AHD Learning Community. Discussion among the presenters and participants that occurred during the live version of the virtual meeting was captured. To learn more:
