Thank You for Joining the 2025 Public Health Learning Forum!

From all of us at the Public Health Foundation, thank you for being a part of this year’s Public Health Learning Forum! We hope you found the sessions engaging and walked away with valuable insights and resources to strengthen workforce development, performance management, and quality improvement across public health. The conference was a great success, with over 1,600 total registrants! We look forward to seeing you in 2026.

Big thanks to our sponsors, PfizerUmemba HealthHealth Communications ConsultantsRiester Influence, the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health, and the Institute for Healthcare Advancement, for keeping this event free for attendees. We couldn’t have done it without you!

New Academic Health Department Partnership Webinar Recordings Available

In collaboration with the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, the Public Health Foundation and the Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice continue to highlight stories of successful academic health department (AHD) partnerships across the country. Recent webinars have been archived and are now available on the TRAIN Learning Network:

These webinar recordings are also available in the AHD Partnerships Toolkit.

New Guest Blog: Pharma and Public Health in Action

The ongoing challenges of COVID-19, flu, and RSV continue to highlight health inequities. Pfizer’s We Talk, We Rise and Si Hablamos, Nos Levantamos campaign, co-created with community partners, delivers culturally relevant resources to combat misinformation and improve access to care. Visit the Public Health Foundation’s website to read the most recent guest blog and discover how collaboration is driving equity and resilience.

Provide Input on PHAB Standards & Measures Refresh: Clarity. Relevance. Insight.

The Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) is refreshing the Accreditation Standards and Measures to better serve the field of public health. Guided by extensive feedback from health departments and informed by years of data, these updates are a refinement, not an overhaul. They are intended to help health departments navigate the Standards and Measures, pursue continuous quality improvement, and reduce documentation burden. Public vetting of the refreshed Standards & Measures is now open! Review enhancements and provide input by December 31, 2025.

Happy Holidays from the Public Health Foundation!
