The 2012 TRAIN Affiliate Consortium (TAC) Annual Meeting will take place in Park City, Utah and is sponsored by the Public Health Foundation (PHF) and TRAIN'S IT partner Knowledge Management Interactive (KMi), and hosted by the Utah Department of Health. This year's meeting is scheduled to take place from Monday, April 30, 2012 through Thursday, May 2, 2012.
The theme for the 2012 TAC Meeting is “Enhancing Performance Management and Quality Improvement”. TAC members will be conducting presentations highlighting several TRAIN features, accomplishments, and initiatives. TRAIN computer training along with other discussion topics are scheduled to be presented including:
- Economization of TRAIN – “How to approach potential partners”
- Introduction to Instructional Design
- Trends in Public Health: Communities of Practice, ESAR-VHP Demonstration and Discussion
This four-day annual in-person meeting provides an opportunity for attendees to exchange information and share resources and ideas about public health distance education. Public health organizations, including state health departments, federal agencies, and funders, outside of TAC who wish to attend the 2012 TAC Annual Meeting may inquire about attendance by emailing Ilya Plotkin, TRAIN Program Administrator at [email protected].
