​​​​​​​​​​​The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) ​​​will be holding the 2023 Preparedness Summit ​on April 24-27, 2023 in Atlanta, GA. The Preparedness Summit is the first and longest running national conference on public health preparedness.


​The 2023 Preparedness Summit features the theme "Recover. Renew: Reprioritizing All-Hazards Preparedness," providing an opportunity to revisit ​pressing public health issues​ such as natural disasters, emerging infectious diseases, and climate issues that have persisted throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and share resources, shape policies, and build skills to mitigate a variety of threats.

Description: ​The TRAIN Learning Network, a product of the PHF, is a valuable tool for building workforce competence. This session will focus on how TRAIN can be utilized to build organizational capacity through competency-based training, as demonstrated by the surge in TRAIN learner accounts and courses throughout the pandemic.
