Join the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials​ (ASTHO) and the Public Health Foundation (PHF) for a panel discussion on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 2-3:30pm EDT. This 90-minute webinar will examine barriers, facilitators of success, and best or promising practices for academic health department (AHD) partnerships involving minority-serving institutions. Panelists from state and local health departments will share about their AHD partnerships and highlight successes in working with minority-serving institutions to improve health.

  • Demonstrate how AHD partnerships with minority-serving institutions contribute to health initiatives 
  • Identify strategies for developing AHD partnerships that strengthen the public health workforce ​
