This webinar is an opportunity for public health professionals in state and territorial health departments to learn more about the 2014 version of the Core Competencies, changes made in this version and how these changes address feedback from the public health community, and tools available to support use of the Core Competencies. Time will be provided for discussion about the Core Competencies, how these competencies are being used by state and territorial health departments, and what tools would help state and territorial health departments better integrate the Core Competencies into workforce development activities. Participants are encouraged to join in the discussion by sharing their own questions, suggestions, and experiences.
