The Public Health Foundation (PHF) conducted a breakout session and exhibited materials to demonstrate our products and services for hospital and healthcare professionals.

Track #4 Breakout Session
On Wednesday, March 5, 2014, from 3:15 to 4:30pm, PHF President Ron Bialek and Senior Quality Advisor John W. Moran led a breakout session on “Demonstrating a Framework for Effective Collaboration: Antibiotic Stewardship Partnership between Healthcare and Public Health.” This interactive session explored how healthcare and public health can work in partnership, with defined roles and responsibilities, to impact the health of a community. A framework developed and tested for successful collaboration was presented and discussed. This framework can be applied to any health issue where collaboration between health care and public health can result in improved community health.
