The HOSA - Future Health Professionals (HOSA) National Leadership Conference (NLC) will take place June 25-28 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida. HOSA is a national organization that represents over 165,000 secondary and post-secondary students, supporting career development in health professions and long-term improvement of health service delivery to the general population. Over 8,000 students, leaders, and guests will engage in workshops, visit exhibit booths from numerous organizations, and compete in health science-related events.

This year's NLC includes a workshop that focuses on TRAIN, the nation's premier online network for professionals who protect the public's health. Scheduled for Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Acapulco room, this workshop will introduce students to learning opportunities in TRAIN while also outlining how HOSA leaders can build student skills as providers of training. Public Health Foundation's (PHF) TRAIN staff will also support workshops promoting HOSA's online educational offerings, provide additional resources and information about PHF and TRAIN in the exhibit hall, and judge competitive events in public health. The HOSA NLC remains an important opportunity to engage the future health workforce.
