​Developing Environments For Excellence in Health Care, the event for the American Nurses Association in Maine will provide evidence-based practice and how it can be applied to practice improvements in patient care.  Look for the booklet from the Public Health Foundation providing invaluable information for nurses including vaccine-preventable diseases, a print-based self-study course providing nurses and students with basic epidemiology principles and concepts, a poster highlighting "bugs" that could lead to infection, blood exposures, and more.
