Workshop Description: 

Participants of this interactive workshop will obtain knowledge to apply quality improvement (QI) principles, processes, and tools to better support QI efforts within their divisions, offices, and programs. The Plan‑Do‑Check‑Act (PDCA) cycle will be discussed along with ways to apply practical QI tools to analyze workflows, understand customer needs, and identify improvement opportunities. Through guided activities, examples, and discussion, participants will build the skills needed to initiate and support QI projects and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Apply the Plan‑Do‑Check‑Act (PDCA) approach and QI methods to plan, test, and refine improvements in public health settings.
  2. Evaluate public health processes using QI tools to determine if improvement is needed and identify opportunities for change.

Cost and Registration

  • $600 per participant (Includes Two 3-hour live sessions)

Payment Deadlines:

  • Payments made by Invoice or Check must be received no later than July 15, 2026.
  • Credit Card payments must be received by July 21, 2026.
  • Purchase Orders must be submitted by July 21, 2026 and payment is due upon receipt of invoice.
