Improving Public Health: Exploring Agency, Systems, and Community Health Improvement is a newly enhanced training workshop of the 9th Annual National Public Health Performance Standards Program (NPHPSP) Training and Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP) Training, being held in St. Louis, Missouri on May 10-13, 2011.

The training includes opportunities to learn about accreditation, performance and quality improvement, health assessment and improvement planning, and how all of these support an overall public health improvement strategy.  Special attention will be given to preparing for accreditation and implementing the NPHPSP Assessment (May 10 & 11), and utilizing the MAPP for community and/or state health improvement planning (May 12 & 13).  Participants may choose to join either or both 2-day segments of the training.
