The Public Health Foundation (PHF) is pleased to announce the availability of the Community Preventive Service Task Force's (Task Force) first Annual Report to Congress.

The Task Force is an independent, nonfederal, volunteer body of public health and prevention experts, whose members are appointed by the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The report provides background on the Task Force, its methods, findings, and recommendations outlined in The Guide to Community Preventive Services (the Community Guide); identifies research gaps and priorities for future work; and describes how states, local communities, and worksites have used the Task Force recommendations outlined in the Community Guide. The report also contains some testimonials and stories collected from PHF’s "I'm Your Community Guide" contest.

PHF encourages you to share the report with your staff, members, or other interested parties.  To find out more about how PHF is helping to promote the evidence-based findings and recommendations in the Community Guide, check out PHF & the Community Guide

Please visit the Community Guide website to see its "new" look and view its most up-to-date recommendations and findings.
