The Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice (Council on Linkages) will convene in Arlington, VA on March 28th and 29th.  During the meeting, Council on Linkages members will engage in strategic planning aimed at better aligning Council on Linkages activities with current and emerging needs related to academic/practice linkages. Reports also will be presented on: the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals, a survey of Public Health Workers conducted by the Council on Linkages, and the Academic Health Department Learning Community.
