Calling All Students! Help Shape the Future Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals
 
The Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Prac​​tice (Council on Linkages) is beginning the process of revising the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals and welcomes feedback from the public health and population health community to inform the revisions. Two upcoming town hall meetings will offer students of public health and other disciplines that contribute to population health an opportunity to share their thoughts:

Final Open Virtual Town Hall Meeting on the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals
Haven’t yet had a chance to join the discussion on the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals (Core Competencies)? As the Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice begins revising the Core Competencies, your feedback will help ensure the Core Competencies continue to reflect the reality of working in public health and meet the needs of the public health workforce. Join a virtual town hall meeting on February 23, 2021 at 1pm EST to share your thoughts, submit your feedback onlin​e, or send your comments to competencies@phf.org. Feedback is welcome through February 28, 2021. Questions may be sent to Kathleen Amos at kamos@phf.org.
