Save the Date for the Next Council on Linkages Meeting

Join the Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice (Council on Linkages) on March 27th at 1 pm for its next meeting. This meeting is open to all public health professionals interested in workforce development initiatives and will be held by conference call. Meeting discussion is planned to focus on upcoming activities related to the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals and preliminary results of the Public Health Workforce Development Inventory. A report on the Academic Health Department Learning Community will also be provided. Meeting details, including a full meeting agenda, will be posted online as they are finalized. PHF Employment Opportunities

The Public Health Foundation (PHF) has an immediate opening for a Project Analyst to support the Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice (Council on Linkages). The ideal Project Analyst will have an interest in workforce development within public health, demonstrated communication and project management experience, and excellent writing and organizational skills. The successful candidate will gain experience working with all activities of the Council on Linkages, with a particular focus on the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals.
