The Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice will host its first Academic Health Department (AHD) Learning Community meeting next week. The AHD Learning Community will serve as a venue for shared exploration of the AHD concept, facilitating collaborative learning among academics and public health practitioners interested in the AHD model.

The first meeting of the AHD Learning Community will be held by conference call on Wednesday, January 26th from 11 am – 12:30 pm EST. An agenda and related meeting materials will be distributed early next week to all interested parties. For more information about this meeting or to join the AHD Learning Community and connect with colleagues, please contact Kathleen Amos at kamos@phf.org.

The AHD Learning Community is an initiative of the Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice, supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
