Get ready for the new TRAIN Learning Network platform. Join the Public Health Foundation (PHF) on January 26, 2017 at 2 pm EST for a webinar to introduce TRAIN's new platform and look. Register on TRAIN to participate.
The webinar, titled The Evolution of Public Health Learning: Introducing the New TRAIN Learning Network Platform, will demonstrate new learner features, including:
- Mobile-friendly access, allowing learners to use TRAIN on a variety of devices
- Modern design that is easy to navigate
- Simplied account creation
- Improved advanced course search
- Streamlined learning record management, including transcripts and certificates
- Increased support, including video tutorials and easy-to-understand documentation
These new features will be available to learners starting January 30, 2017 on the national TRAIN website at
www.train.org and on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s CDC TRAIN affiliate site. The
TRAIN Learning Network’s 28 other state and federal
affiliates will launch their new branded affiliate websites throughout 2017.
January’s launch of the new TRAIN learner features represents just the first phase of the new TRAIN platform. The rest of the platform, including administrative functionality, such as adding and editing courses, reporting, and more will be released throughout 2017.
More than 500 health professionals, training content providers, and partners have provided PHF and the TRAIN affiliates with feedback, ensuring that TRAIN continues to meet the needs of professionals who protect and improve the public’s health.
