Med Learning Group Joins the TRAIN Learning Network

Topic: TRAIN

Date: 9/4/2018

The Med Learning Group (MLG) recently launched their new Course Provider Premium TRAIN Learning Network portal – Med Learning TRAIN – in July 2018. MLG is the 30th affiliate (states, national organizations, or academic institutions who operate a customized TRAIN portal) to join the TRAIN Learning Network. Med Learning TRAIN will offer training that improves the public health and healthcare practitioners’ ability to provide optimal care and services through virtual reality animations as well as point-of-care tools.

“MLG is very excited to join TRAIN and the opportunities it provides to share our medical education programs with a vast, engaged audience,” said Lauren Welch, Vice President of Outcomes and Accreditation at MLG. “We highly value and appreciate PHF’s mission to share quality education and feel very grateful to be a part of this integrated network for sharing and coordinating learning across agencies and organizations who train the public health, healthcare, and behavioral health workforce.”

The addition of Med Learning TRAIN reflects the growing interest in being a part of a comprehensive learning network comprised of national organizations, government agencies, state and local health departments, training centers, not-for-profit organizations, and academic institutions. Through TRAIN’s collaborative network, thousands of quality e-learning modules, recorded webinars, in-person training, and curated training plans are available to learners through a single cloud-based platform. With over 1.75 million registered learners, TRAIN is the go-to learning network for professionals who protect and improve the public’s health.
