National Infant Immunization Week
April 16-23, 2016
National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW) is an annual observance highlighting the benefits of immunizing children two years old or younger. During NIIW, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), health departments, and other immunization advocates across the nation will join together to share and celebrate how they have protected children and communities through vaccination.
The Public Health Foundation (PHF) provides immunization resources that explain the importance of immunizing infants and maintaining the recommended immunization schedules. |
