PHF and IHI Update Resources for Public Health Quality Improvement

Related Categories: Workforce Development

Topic: Performance Management and Quality Improvement

Date: 6/12/2012

The Public Health Foundation (PHF) and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) collaborated to update IHI’s Resources for Public Health Quality Improvement website page with the focus of better serving public health professionals. New resources were added to the website that cover various topics: national frameworks and initiatives supporting public health quality improvement and performance management, public health workforce, and community data. The resources on this website are intended to help public health leaders and practitioners apply quality improvement tools and techniques to programs and processes to help them achieve their goals of saving lives, cutting costs, and improving results. Visit IHI's Resources for Public Health Quality Improvement to view the new resources and link to more improvement resources.

This effort was made possible through a cooperative agreement between PHF and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases - Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion
