The Public Health Foundation (PHF) is currently seeking grant partners who are interested in supporting its mission to improve the public’s health by strengthening the quality and performance of public health practice. PHF is a private non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to achieving healthy communities through research, training, and technical assistance.

PHF is evaluating opportunities to utilize its social marketing expertise to promote awareness, adoption, and use of resources that enable optimal public health practice, and ultimately, improve health outcomes. We will employ a wide range of networking and outreach tools to advance the mission and values of both PHF and partner organizations.

Most recently, PHF has partnered with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to increase use of The Guide to Community Preventive Services, also known as The Community Guide, a free collection of evidence-based recommendations and findings developed by the Task Force on Community Preventive Services.  To promote this resource, PHF is developing informational widgets, miniature web applications, and is hosting the “I’m Your Community Guide!” contest, which encourages public health organizations to share their successes using The Community Guide. For more information about PHF’s partnership with the CDC, visit PHF & The Community Guide.

If your organization is interested in partnering with PHF, or if you know of other potential grant opportunities, please contact Antoinette Barber.
