Participants Announced for Second E-Learning Institute

​The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in partnership with the Public Health Foundation (PHF), would like to thank all those who submitted an application for the second E-Learning Institute. Fifty-six instructional design and distance learning specialists from the United States and Canada applied to the program, which will equip participants with knowledge and tools to create high-quality online training products. Although there was a high volume of applicants, only ten spaces could be accepted into the program this year.

 

Commencing on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, a group of mentors, coaches, and consultants from CDC will guide participants through the 15-week program. During the program, participants will build and refine an online training product based on both previous knowledge and the skills gained throughout the program. At its conclusion, participants will present their product at a showcase to the E-Learning Institute team and other participants. It is expected that participants will be better equipped with the tools and knowledge to create high-quality training that could be utilized both nationally and locally after having attended the E-Learning Institute.
