The Public Health Foundation’s Senior Quality Advisor John W. (Jack) Moran and Quality Improvement Expert Harry Lenderman published an article in September 2012 for the Process Excellence Network titled Ten Tips for Senior Management Before Starting Process Improvement. This article provides guidelines on ways to strike a balance between closely managing teams and being too far removed when the team is engaged in a process improvement. Dr. Moran has written many articles for the Process Excellence Network including Four Secrets to Leading Successful Change, The PDCA Cycle for Change Leaders, and 10 Steps to Dealing with People Challenges.
