The TRAIN Snapshot has been updated to reflect the most recent statistics at the start of 2013. This brochure illustrates some of the numbers and facts about TRAIN, the premier learning management system for professionals and volunteers who protect the public’s health. The updated TRAIN Snapshot can be downloaded here.
Statistics included in the snapshot are: the number of TRAIN learners, number of course registrations, number of completed courses, and percentage of courses completed that include the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals. Using these statistics, the snapshot shows how TRAIN differs from other learning management systems.
The Snapshot provides an annual analysis and compares TRAIN measures year to year. One of the most encouraging figures from 2012 was a 23% increase in total users, putting the overall number of registered learners over 650,000. There have also been over 1.9 million course completions and over 40% of those courses completed included Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals. In 2013, the PHF TRAIN team will work towards increasing the number of new user registrations, course completions, and the number of courses completed that are tagged with Core Competencies through improved marketing efforts and promotion of available courses.
