TRAIN Learning Network Support Services
The Public Health Foundation (PHF), through the TRAIN Learning Network, assists organizations in workforce development, emergency preparedness and response, and addressing critical population health challenges. PHF staff can provide support services to enhance the capacity of your organization to leverage TRAIN. Our suite of TRAIN support services includes:
 
Opioid Crisis Response with TRAIN
  • Developing training plans (these are compilations of trainings for specific target audiences)
  • Enabling the targeted distribution and tracking of training by establishing special groups (e.g., individual hospitals and healthcare facilities, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, administrators)
  • Developing pre- and post-assessments and evaluations of trainings
  • Tracking registration and completion of trainings
  • Running reports on training registrations, completions, assessments, and evaluations
  • Analyzing training evaluation and other feedback data
  • Additional services available include:
    • Assisting with establishing TRAIN accounts for individuals (e.g., uploading groups such as physicians)
    • Performing batch registration for courses (enables automatic registration for training)
    • Working with specific groups (e.g., physician groups, medical societies, hospital associations) to help their members access, register for, and complete training
TRAIN Data Analysis and Reporting – Scheduled and Standardized
  • Conducting scheduled standardized data analysis
  • Providing standardized reporting on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis
TRAIN Data Analysis and Reporting – On-Demand and Customized
  • Conducting scheduled standardized data analysis
  • Providing standardized reporting on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis
  • On-demand and customized data analysis
  • Customized reporting, which may include data visualization, demographic comparison, etc.

TRAIN Administrator Services – Standard Support

Customer support services for both TRAIN learners and providers of training

  • Course approval based on affiliate guidance and CDC Quality Training Standards (up to 40 courses)
  • Development of the organization's grouping configuration
    • Creation of up to three topic-specific training plans developed using your organization's training content and existing content on TRAIN
    • Standardized reporting on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis
TRAIN Administrator Services – Expanded Support

Customer support services for both TRAIN learners and providers of training

  • Approving courses based on organization's guidance and CDC Quality Training Standards (up to 40 courses)
  • Developing the organization's grouping configuration
  • Creating of up to six topic-specific training plans developed using your organization's training content and existing content on TRAIN
  • Providing standardized reporting on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis
  • On-demand and customized data analysis and reporting (may include data visualization, demographic comparisons, etc.)
TRAIN Administrator Services – Learner-Specific Support

Customer support services – assisting TRAIN learners

  • Finding courses on TRAIN
  • Accessing learner records and certificates
  • Resetting passwords
  • Merging duplicate accounts
  • Other learner-focused tasks

Customer support services for providers of training through TRAIN

  • Setting up accounts
  • Managing organizations
  • Course review and approval
  • Listing and removing courses on TRAIN (up to 40 courses)

Tailored assistance for existing and new TRAIN administrators
  • Mentoring and tailored technical assistance for TRAIN administrators and affiliate staff regarding their roles and using TRAIN effectively
  • How to provide customer support services for learners and providers of training
