The Frequency and Characteristics of Academic Health Departments: An Exploratory Study (AHD Learning Community Meeting Presentation)

Overview

This archived webinar presentation focuses on a recent survey designed to explore the characteristics of academic health departments (AHDs) and was originally presented during the October 2014 AHD Learning Community meeting. Conducted by a research team led by AHD Learning Community member Paul Campbell Erwin, MD, DrPH, Professor and Head of the University of Tennessee Department of Public Health, the survey considered a variety of aspects of AHDs, including longevity of partnerships, types of connections between partners, and benefits of partnering. During this 20 minute presentation, Dr. Erwin shares results of the survey and discusses how the data gathered can help build the evidence base for AHDs. Watch the archived presentation or download the presentation slides to learn more.
