Competencies and Resources for Performance Improvement Professionals in Public Health (Archived Webinar)

Overview

This archived webinar provides an overview of the draft Competencies for Performance Improvement Professionals in Public Health and introduces resources to assist with implementation of these competencies. Featuring Ron Bialek and Julie Sharp of the Public Health Foundation (PHF), this 60 minute webinar was originally presented to the Public Health Performance Improvement Network (phPIN) in February 2016.
 
The Competencies for Performance Improvement Professionals in Public Health are a set of skills desirable for performance improvement professionals working in public health. Based on the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals and the Core Competencies for Performance Improvement Managers, these competencies were developed to offer additional guidance in performance improvement for individuals with public health responsibilities in areas such as accreditation, quality improvement, performance management, workforce development, and community health improvement.
