Safety First: Helping Restaurants Reduce the Spread of COVID-19 (Online Training)

Overview

Health departments have an important role to play in helping restaurants keep their staff and patrons safe. To support health departments in providing guidance to restaurants, the Public Health Foundation (PHF), in partnership with the Food and Society Program at the Aspen Institute launched a training, Safety First: Helping Restaurants Reduce the Spread of COVID-19. This training includes three modules:

  • Module 1: Source Control and Infection Basics
  • Module 2: Ventilation Basics
  • Module 3: Vaccination Communication Strategies
Following the completion of the training, the post-test, and the evaluation, users may receive a certificate of completion.

National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) credential holders may submit 1 hour of continuing education credits upon completion of this course by using the self-reporting tool in the MyNEHA Portal.
