Academic Health Department Partnership Agreements

Academic health department (AHD) partnerships are formed by the affiliation of health departments and academic institutions. Health departments and academic institutions may collaborate informally or establish more formal affiliations through the signing of a partnership agreement, such as an affiliation agreement or a memorandum of understanding. Partnership agreements may be comprehensive or address a single aspect of education, research, or practice. Samples of such agreements, along with example guidelines for partnership agreements, are presented below to assist organizations in developing their own formal partnerships
