Action SWOT Analysis
Like the SWOT Analysis, the Action SWOT Analysis tool helps an organization specifically assess its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for action. It then builds on that information to identify a set of clear action steps, moving beyond data gathering.
Developed by Public Health Foundation (PHF) Senior Quality Advisor Jack W. Moran and performance improvement expert Sonja Armbruster, this tool can be used in preparing to conduct an agency strategic plan by helping to understand how the organization fits into the external environment.
