Process Value Analysis

Process Value Analysis helps teams evaluate each step in a process to determine its value, expressed as a ratio of function to cost.

Developed by Public Health Foundation (PHF) Senior Quality Advisor John W. Moran and PHF quality improvement expert Erin Barkema, the method focuses on identifying a process’s value chain and distinguishing between activities that add economic value and those that do not.
