The Public Health Foundation (PHF), in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has developed an educational video, Understanding the ACIP and How Vaccine Recommendations are Made in the US, to help inform viewers about the process, science, and safety behind vaccine recommendations. In the United States, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) develops clinical recommendations on the use of vaccines for children and adults to prevent and control the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases.
