A foundational component of a high-performing health department is continuous quality improvement (QI). Help your organization build and sustain QI skills by learning about the QI process, how QI is applied in public health, and tools and methodologies for a successful QI program. By the end of this training, your teams will have the skills to develop and implement QI projects on their own.
The Public Health Foundation (PHF) will remotely facilitate five QI teams for seven weeks (4 hours per week, plus remote coaching) to help them:
- Learn about and practice the basic QI tools and methods
- Select a project and analyze it using QI tools
- Develop and implement solutions to identified problems
- Build a strong team base and plan for future projects
Duration: This training can be delivered remotely in modules over days or weeks, or it can be provided on-site.
