​The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in partnership with the Public Health Foundation (PHF) is hosting an online training product showcase at CDC’s headquarters for E-Learning Institute participants. After completing a 15-week program with oversight from mentors and coaches and consultants from CDC, participants will present their product at a final showcase to the E-Learning Institute team and other participants. This is the second cohort of participants in the E-Learning Institute, following the success of eight participants in 2013.

CDC and PHF encourage all instructional designers interested in enhancing their skills to:

• Join the Health Educators and Learning Professionals (HELP) Community of Practice (CoP) on TRAIN, the nation’s premier learning management network for public health professionals. HELP CoP offers monthly webinars on topics such as Translating Instructor-led Training into Quality E-learning and Instructional Design 101. Add the HELP CoP by registering on TRAIN and selecting HELP CoP under CDC.
• Review learning products and resources at the CDC Learning Connection.
• Access instructional design courses such as E-Learning Essentials Interactive Guide and How to Create Section 508 Compliant E-learning with Lectora on TRAIN.
• Follow TRAIN on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest for updates on e-learning materials.
