The Open Forum: Next Generation (NxGen), presented by the National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI), will be held September 27-29, 2023, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Open Forum: NxGen provides public health practitioners an opportunity to learn and engage with peers around critical topics currently facing both the public health and the healthcare workforce. The conference establishes a learning continuum that strengthens the capacity for practitioners to respond to future public health needs and provides skills and resources to bolster the new generation of public health workers.
This year's theme is "Transforming Public Health for a Resilient Future: Equipping and Empowering our Workforce to Advance Health Equity," and will feature four learning tracks:

- Advancing and Renewing the Public Health Workforce
- (Re)Shaping the Future of Public Health
- Performance Management and Quality Improvement (PMQI)
