Join the Academic Health Department (AHD) Learning Community for a virtual meeting on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 12-1pm EDT to discuss the newest initiative of the Learning Community: a research agenda focused on the AHD model. This research agenda explores questions related to effectively measuring the value of AHD partnerships in enhancing public health and determining best practices critical to partnership success, and suggests opportunities for collaborative research on the structure, functions, and impacts of AHDs.

During this meeting, AHD Learning Community member Paul Campbell Erwin, MD, DrPH, University of Tennessee Department of Public Health, who is leading the development of the AHD Research Agenda, will discuss the initial draft of the research agenda that has recently been completed, the process through which the research agenda is being developed, and the questions it contains. This meeting will also provide an opportunity for participants to provide feedback that will guide the refinement of this research agenda. Read the current draft of the AHD Research Agenda and plan to attend the meeting on March 16th to learn more.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this meeting, participants will be able to:
  1. Describe relevant recent publications and findings regarding the AHD
