The PI Competencies are a set of skills desirable for performance improvement (PI) professionals working in public health and were developed to offer additional guidance in PI for public health professionals with responsibilities related to developing or implementing plans and activities in the areas of quality improvement, performance management, workforce development, accreditation readiness, or community health assessment and improvement planning.
The PI Competencies are currently in draft form, and feedback is being gathered to guide further refinement and finalization of this competency set. This virtual listening session offers an opportunity to discuss the draft competencies and share feedback to help ensure this competency set accurately reflects the realities of engaging in PI work.
Feedback on the draft PI Competencies is being accepted through March 31, 2018, and additional opportunities for sharing feedback are available. Please visit the
PHF Pulse Blog to learn more.
