Population Health Competencies Listening Session

Category: Focus Area

Related Categories: Workforce Development

Location: Virtual Meeting

Start Date: 3/19/2018

End Date: 3/19/2018

Join the Public Health Foundation on Monday, March 19, 2018 from 2-3pm EDT for a virtual listening session focused on the draft Priority Competencies for Population Health Professionals (Population Health Competencies).

The Population Health Competencies describe desired skills for population health professionals and are primarily designed for non-clinical hospital, health system, public health, and healthcare professionals engaged in assessment of population health needs and development, delivery, and improvement of population health programs, services, and practices.

The Population Health Competencies are currently in draft form, and feedback is being gathered to guide further refinement and finalization of this competency set. This virtual listening session offers an opportunity to discuss the draft competencies and share feedback to help ensure this competency set accurately reflects the realities of engaging in population health work.

Feedback on the draft Population Health Competencies is being accepted through March 31, 2018, and additional opportunities for sharing feedback are available. Please visit the PHF Pulse Blog to learn more.
