This year, CDC TRAIN, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s gateway into the most comprehensive catalog of public health learning products in the nation, celebrates its second year as a TRAIN affiliate. TRAIN is a web-based, nationwide learning management network for public health professionals. It is comprised of 28 affiliate portals including 25 states and 3 national organizations: the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC). In addition, many courses on CDC TRAIN offer continuing education (CE) for learners with professional CE requirements. Since its launch, CDC TRAIN has grown by leaps and bounds, with 70,500 registered learners and nearly 6,000 courses. And so far this year, the number of new learners on CDC TRAIN has increased by 1,000 per month!
