The Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice (Council on Linkages), a collaboration of 24 national organizations supporting the public health workforce, is excited to announce that Amy Lee, MD, MPH, MBA, has been elected Chair. Dr. Lee succeeds C. William Keck, MD, MPH, who served as Chair since 1998. The Council on Linkages is deeply grateful to Dr. Keck for his 26 years of dedicated service and welcomes Dr. Lee to her new position.

Join the Public Health Foundation (PHF) this October for the 2024 Public Health Learning Forum! This year’s meeting will be held virtually, with the theme "Workforce Development In Action." Sessions will focus on training and tools to support public health workforce development and build governmental public health workforce capacity. Explore topics such as the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals, academic health department partnerships, workforce capacity assessments, and more.
