Join the Council on Linkages for June 24th Meeting

Mark your calendars to join the Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice (Council on Linkages) for its next meeting on June 24, 2024, from 2-4pm EDT. Hear the latest about initiatives of the Council on Linkages, including updates on the soon-to-launch Retention and Recruitment Learning Community. Additionally, learn from guest speakers from the Public Health Advocacy Consensus Task Force, who will discuss efforts to identify essential advocacy skills to strengthen the public health workforce, and from the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists, who will share a new toolkit and trainings to support implementation of the 2023 Applied Epidemiology Competencies. Three New Ways to Get the Most Out of Public Health Competencies

In a recent blog by the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE), read how the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals (Core Competencies) served as a foundation for the Applied Epidemiology Competencies (AECs), and explore a new AEC toolkit. These CSTE tools and resources can be utilized with any competency set, including the Core Competencies.
