National Infant Immunization Week
April 16-23, 2016

National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW) is an annual observance highlighting the benefits of immunizing children two years old or younger. During NIIW, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), health departments, and other immunization advocates across the nation will join together to share and celebrate how they have protected children and communities through vaccination.

The Public Health Foundation (PHF) provides immunization resources that explain the importance of immunizing infants and maintaining the recommended immunization schedules.
Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine-Preventable Diseases
Developed by CDC, Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine-Preventable Diseases, also known as "The Pink Book," provides current, credible, and comprehensive immunization information to public health practitioners, healthcare personnel, health educators, pharmacists, and others involved in administering vaccines.

The Pink Book E-Book gives you, your staff, and others quick access to all of the information provided in the hard copy.
Three Immunization Perspectives Blog Post
PHF interviewed three of the 2015 CDC Childhood Immunization Champion Award recipients to hear their unique perspectives on the condition of immunizations in their states. Read about their successes, challenges, and the key resources that they use in the PHF Pulse Blog.
