The Public Health Foundation (PHF) is excited to announce and celebrate reaching 5 million learners on the TRAIN Learning Network (TRAIN)! This accomplishment is a celebration of the support and engagement of our dedicated community and partners.
TRAIN is the trusted leader in providing quality training and other learning opportunities to health professionals. Through the support of our course providers, TRAIN offers the most comprehensive course catalog for the public health workforce, with learning opportunities in more than 60 health-related subject areas.
"It's the best LMS system in public health that I have found that connects me to the largest group of users. TRAIN allows me to take courses from Federal agencies and my own state that rolls into a single transcript for all of my trainings. It's not just courses. It's meetings, conferences, programs. You can add any event as a TRAIN event and it's awesome to just print at the end of the quarter or year!" – Review from Suzanne H. on Capterra
This milestone builds on PHF's long history of helping to strengthen our nation's public health infrastructure, with highlights including the updated
Social Determinants of Health Training Plan, new educational videos added to the
Building Awareness of Immunization and Vaccines training plan, new
health equity training plans, and the
continued enhancement of the TRAIN platform.
PHF looks forward to continuing to work with the public health, healthcare, preparedness, and other communities to identify and provide access to needed training that supports learners and organizations in their efforts to ensure health and well-being for all.
TRAIN affiliates currently include 32 states, six federal agencies, one tribal organization, and other partners. With an annual TRAIN subscription, affiliates receive a customized portal and provide cost-effective access to thousands of trainings, manage learning, and track and report on completed training. Affiliates also work together to improve their organizations' workforce development efforts and guide the development of future TRAIN enhancements.
PHF is excited to continue to provide access to public health training, developing additional learning opportunities, and connecting with new learners through TRAIN. Organizations interested in a TRAIN affiliate subscription can contact Andrew Borrelli at (202) 218-4438, aborrelli@phf.org, or submit information online.
