New COVID-19 Contact Tracing Training Available Through the TRAIN Learning Network
The National Network of Disease Intervention Training Centers has launched a series of trainings for public health professionals leading COVID-19 contact tracing programs. Courses include:

COVID-19 Leadership: Best Practices for Team Leads. These trainings are conducted virtually across 2-3 days by live instructors.

Mapping the Core Competencies and Revised Essential Public Health Services
The Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals (Core Competencies) are designed to reflect the skills needed to deliver the Essential Public Health Services (EPHS). Curious how these competencies relate to the revised EPHS? The Public Health National Center for Innovations (PHNCI) developed a crosswalk mapping the Core Competencies to the revised EPHS to show which competencies contribute to performing each of the services.
