Obesity is Now Classified as a Disease: Education and Training Opportunities

TRAINLast month, the American Medical Association classified obesity as a disease. This is an important step in addressing this complex health issue. PHF has several education and training resources to help you develop obesity interventions and prevention initiatives.

Almost one year ago, the Public Health Quality Improvement Encyclopedia was released for health departments to critically analyze practices, discover ways to more effectively and efficiently achieve desired results, and succeed with national public health accreditation.
