Public Health Foundation is pleased to welcome Samantha Draper to the PHF family as the new TRAIN Program Assistant I.  Ms. Draper is a recent graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and brings a wide range of skills and experiences to the TRAIN team as a writer, meeting planner, and project assistant. Most recently, she interned at United States Department of Agriculture: Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion (CNPP) and analyzed over 2,200 public comments for a database on dietary guidelines.

 

As TRAIN Program Assistant, Ms. Draper will work with the TRAIN Team in initiatives to enhance the knowledge and skills of the TRAIN community in order to expand the availability of training and education resources for public health professionals. In addition to providing administrative support, Ms. Draper will monitor and update TRAIN databases, assist on managing contracts, provide budgeting and help with the coordination and planning of the TAC Annual Meeting, and ensure accurate dissemination of TRAIN-related information. Ms. Draper will collaborate with the TRAIN Team on projects and will assist with marketing and strategic planning for the future of TRAIN.
