This archived webinar introduces a staged model of academic health department (AHD) development, which is being drafted with the aim of better articulating how AHD partnerships might develop. This model illustrates the potential development of such partnerships on a continuum that has five stages, from informal relationships through comprehensive collaboration. During this webinar, AHD Learning Community Chair Bill Keck, MD, MPH, shared the current draft of this model, and Learning Community member Bryn Manzella, MPH, discussed how the Jefferson County (AL) Department of Health's AHD partnerships have evolved through the various stages illustrated in the model.
