To ensure you make the most of your performance management system, it is helpful to assess its performance. This "meta perspective" on performance management enables you to capture visually the uptake of each component of performance management, and the degree to which it is supporting your organization's goals. Designed and tested by Dan Ward from the Idaho Division of Public Health, Assessing Your Performance Management System at the Program Level can also help organizations identify who is and is not engaged with performance management, and plan activites to bolster engagement.
