Overview

These slides provide an overview of the culture of quality improvement (QI), the steps needed to build and change organizational culture, becoming aware of the six indicators of a culture, and how to rate an organization’s culture using a radar chart.  These slides are excerpted from a presentation given by Jack Moran, Senior Quality Advisor to the Public Health Foundation (PHF), at the 2011 National Public Health Performance Standards Program (NPHPSP)Training Workshop on Improving Public Health: Exploring Agency, Systems, and Community Health Improvement held in St. Louis, Missouri on May 10-13, 2011.
